Nissan GU Patrol Overland Build

Arguably one of the best vehicles for an Overland beast, and one of the most capable 4wds around (and I’m not just saying that as a Nissan fanatic, I love landcruisers too).

It’s the GU Patrol. Sold in Australia for over a decade, and still sold in many parts of the world – they are tested and proven. Except maybe for that 3 litre turbo diesel engine.

This example which has been in my ownership for a little over a year, is a 2002 model with that very 3 litre turbo diesel ZD30 engine. They are well known for blowing up, but there are many ZD30 anti grenade kit options on the market that reduce the likelyhood of this happening. Fortunately; this one is okay so far!
